Certified Oh Crap! Potty Training Consultant
Fort Myers, FL

Hey, neighbor! Feeling stressed out and on your last nerve with potty training drama?

Let me help you get back on track with comprehensive support the Oh Crap! way. You may be familiar with Jamie Glowacki's, but in case that name doesn’t ring a bell, she is the best-selling author of Oh Crap! Potty Training and Oh Crap! I Have a Toddler. Her potty training process has helped thousands of children over the past couple of decades become toilet indepdent without rewards, bribes, or punishments. This is not a potty training bootcamp or three-day program nor does it involve extrinsic incentives like sticker charts and M&Ms. We will get your little one out of diapers in a way that respects their autonomy and dignity in a reasonable timeframe.

I am now accepting Lee County clients for house calls! Virtual support is always an option, if you prefer.

Concerns I Help Parents Resolve

General Potty Training

  • You are about to embark on this process for the first time and want to get it right

  • You have already tried other “methods” and now want to do a reset the Oh Crap! way

  • You have been practicing elimination communication and want to know how to officially transition to complete toilet independence

Poop Withholding

  • Exclusively pooping in pants, a pull-up/diaper, or on the floor— anywhere but the toilet

  • Escalating behavior when the urge to poop hits (fight/flight/freeze mode)

  • Asking for a pull-up/diaper for the purpose of pooping in it

  • Frequent daily pooping or only pooping in tiny quantities i.e. not completely voiding

  • Smearing/leaking in underwear or a diaper

Pee Withholding

  • Needs to pee but will not go; often, a pee dance occurs when the urge hits. Long stretches (6-8+ hours) without peeing.

  • Tiny dribbles in underwear or sudden accidents after hours of withholding

  • Waking up from naps dry but shortly after soaks pull-up

  • Only peeing during sleep or in a pull-up

Regressions & Resistance

  • A major life event such as a move, tragedy, welcoming a new sibling, starting a new school, or a divorce has led to a pattern of accidents after toilet independence

  • Refusing to poop or pee on the toilet when the urge hits or refusing to sit

Night Training & Bedwetting

  • You are eager to tackle night training the right way

  • You already night trained, however you are dealing with recurrent bedwetting

Troubleshooting Accidents

  • At least one pee and/or poop accident nearly daily

  • These frequent accidents happen either seemingly out of the blue, or you can pinpoint a cause, yet nothing you have tried will resolve it

Client Testimonial

“My mind is blown in regard to night training. Once we implemented Kat's strategies for our 2.5 year old son, he began waking up dry easily and sleeping so much better. We saw this steak of success in just a few short nights, but holy smokes; I would have continued with night diapers for at least another year without Kat's guidance because I just had no idea! I have been humbled, and this experience is a reminder that 'you don't know what you don't know.'"

Work with me

Moms and dads, we’ve lost our village and the elder wisdom that comes with it. It is not your fault that this rite of passage for both parents and children, potty training, has become rife with tension and misunderstanding. We have never lived more in isolation, and The Big Diaper industry has successfully severed our instincts while keeping our little ones dependent on diapers well past “readiness.”

You should not have to white knuckle your way through potty training struggles solo, especially amidst the sea of bold claims and conflicting information on social media about potty training from those who haven’t even experienced it in the trenches.

Whether you are convinced your child is just not “getting it,” or you feel completely lost, confused, or on the brink of collapse, I am here for you. I can assure you we will get to the bottom of this and devise a results-driven plan.

Sticker charts, M&M’s, time outs, and bribes are not the way. I promise. There is a better, more sustainable way that respects your child’s innate desire for autonomy. Our little ones are so much more capable than we give them credit for. It’s up to us to give them the opportunity to rise to the occasion. I look forward to getting to know you and your little one while giving you some much needed peace of mind!

What my clients are saying

“Kat is a kind and intelligent consultant. It had been seven years since I last potty trained, and I was somewhat confused this time around before meeting with Kat. She was extremely helpful in collecting useful information from little anecdotes I shared and provided insightful context as to what is really happening. I left our session with way more clarity and an understanding of how to wrap up EC and officially transition to potty training once my one-year-old reaches 18 months. Kat provided practical suggestions that were easy and fast for me to apply. In fact, the day after our consult, I was able to successfully catch three pees in the toilet, three days in a row, because of the changes Kat recommended I make. If you are like me and know what your end goal is but you are struggling with taking the steps to reach it, I highly recommend talking to Kat.”
